I WON I WON!
I am so excited!! I just found out I won the Motivet challenge of 3 stamps for this card & sketch here.
I would love to encourage you guys to join these challenges. Their sketches make it easy to build a card and they only have about 30 - 40 entries a week!! The chances of winning, or winning 2nd place is very very high! 2nd place is a random draw for 2 free stamps so it's anybody's game.
If you don't have a Motivet stamp, download the new cute kitty image right from their website (under Freebies on the l/h side) and join in.
They are very generous and if you even comment on any post during the week, your name goes in for a random draw of 5 stamps.

I hope you'll play Week #6 challenge! It's this sketch - cute or what?!!!

Whiff Of Joy Challenge #66
For WOJ's # 66 challenge they gave us a sketch and I decided to use Fall Willow. She's so adorable! Thanks for the sketch Jane! I love the BG's new "Origins" paper so much I thought I'd try it again! I love how the paper has so many colors for you to pull from.
I know a few people have mentioned giving a list of Copics or a picture so here is what I used. It's a bit tough for me to make them all nice to show you because the Ciao markers don't have the lettering and numbers on the end but hopefully this gives you and idea.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge 28
I wanted to participate in The Sugar Bowl Challenge in hopes that I MIGHT have a chance on winning the brand new Magna Sugar Nellies which you can see here and they are items #2-7. So adorable! You have to use their sketch and add "lace" onto your card, which I chose a paper lace border.
I really didn't want to hide this gorgeous paper with embellishments but have a hard time leaving "white space". I'm so not good at that but I forced myself to put the card down and back away from the table! LOL! If you look closely enough you can see the Spica pens shimmer in her hair. I also added glaze to the coffee cup.

Embellishments: Prima flowers, American Crafts pearl brad, Opaline pearls, Kaisercraft Pearls, Glossy Accents, Spica glitter pens and Stickles glitter.

Magnolia Down Under Challenge #31
I colored two of these images last Sunday, Tilda with Vintage Roses, so I knew I had to use them up! Colored images are like money in your pocket. You just HAVE to use them! LOL! It's funny how different these cards turned out (see post below) considering I used the same Basic Grey Marrakech papers. I love the spring feel to this card and must admit it's one of my most recent favorites! I don't usually color light but managed to do it this time.
This card is done up for Magnolia Down Under Challenge #31. The sketch was given to us as well as the added challenge of making sure there was something orange on your card. I don't use orange very often.......ok I couldn't tell you the last time I used orange......OH WAIT HALLOWEEN!
