My wonderful friend Nicole, from Canadian Nickel Scrapn', has gathered up a boatload of her very talented blogging friends to each showcase a technique. SO if you have arrived from Alex`s blog then you are heading in the right direction. If not, you can start over at Nicole's blog.
Today I'm showcasing the UTEE technique paired up with a wonderful image from Tiddly Inks. I would suggest however, that you maybe not crack her face the way I have her. Just an afterthought. LOL!! I also cut another flower, 3d-ed it and covered it with Glossy Accents to give it a shine like the image has.
You can find this tutorial at Splitcoast Stampers. I will offer 2 tips regarding this technique tho. The first one - try to set the image in the freezer between each layer of embossing. Makes it easier to crack in the end. (wait....crack in the end....bwahhh ha ha ha no pun intended!) Also, your image will usually come out as a creamy color so that might be something to keep in mind when you are matching up your colors.
NOW! On to some more fabulous techniques so off you go to Jessica's blog. Enjoy!
*******My card is a multi-functional card today!! I am also entering this card in Friday Sketchers for this sketch and Tiddly Inks who wanted us embellishments, lace and or buttons.
Stamps: Tiddly Ink`Poppy`
Paper: Basic Grey `Boxer`
Embellishments: Misc ribbon, lace and buttons, UTEE , misc flowers and Scrapper`s Floss and Glossy Accents
