I've been wanting to make a tissue box cover for awhile now and finally got the chance to follow this very easy tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers. I picked up this little Sad Wombat from Tickled Pink Stamps. Doesn't he make you wanna hug him?
When I finished the box hubby, said "oh he's crying after watching a sad movie that's cute". Even tho I was just using Tim Holtz's filmstrip I hadn't even thought of that!! LOL!! To me it was just a fabulous embellishment!!
It's going into these challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Signs of Spring. Butterflies and flowers.....feels springy to me!!
Tickled Pink Stamps Facebook challenge to be a guest in an April blog hop!

Back view - since this would be facing a wall,
I didn't bother wasting embellies on the back.

This is sooooooooooooo fantastic. Great coloring and all of your sides are stunning! Love your nestie useage and that film strip.....is the perfect touch . Good luck with the GDT call.
ReplyDeletewow it is lovely. What a neat stamp and so neatly colored. Take Care
ReplyDeleteStunning project! I have yet to make a 3d project of any kind. I love your color choices. The filmstrip is perfect in your cluster. Yes, the wombat does look sad or..he could have allergies..that make his eyes water and cause him to need a tissue! I had a friend..he used to call his girlfriend a "Wombat" (cross between a woman and a bat) needless to say..he doesn't have THAT girlfriend anymore LOL. Took me forever to find out what a wombat actually was!
ReplyDeleteOMG DUDE. OMG. That is SOOOO FREAKIN CUTE & so want to just hug the little wombat. Love how you used the filmstrip & your color selection is AWEsome! Super duper coloring, I always have to say that just so you know who I aspire to be like one day. Snicket.
ReplyDeleteAwww! This is adorable! Are you keeping this one? Love the poor crying wombat! :o)
ReplyDeleteAnd LOVE that border punch!!! Want it!
