Well a month has gone by already and now we're on to our next challenge:
WARM COLORS
I started out with Maya's "Vintage Spring Basics" and a selection of yellow papers but the more you pile on the less you can see it. LOL! The image is from LLC called Bouquet from Grandma's Attic and you get 11 tinted images on a 12" x 12" page so lots of selection.
I punched a Tim Holtz butterfly border using corrugated cardboard (just scrap) and added some gesso. A technique I discovered from my teamie Tracy at Crafteezee. (If you have never seen her stuff before O-M-G). Of course I added lots of Wild Orchid flowers and some more flowers and lace from LLC.
I punched some Martha Stewart butterflies to rest overtop of my cardboard butterflies and added a sweet steampunk looking charm from LLC.
I covered the chipboard bird from Maya Road with some more paper from the Vintage Spring Basics pad and glued it to the wooden birdcage I found at Michaels. It's also covered with some gesso along with the Tim Holtz tickets. Well actually along with pretty much my whole card. LOL!
This card is for sale on our Esty store:

When u told me you had chosen warm and yellow for your challengecard I was a bit worried...but I had no reason to be. :-) This is sooooooo gorgeous, and just the right amount of it. Actually, I think it looks wonderful together with the pink and the white. Outstanding card; so many beautiful details to look at, and great use of the gesso. Hugz, Sandy
So lovely - warm colours, but such a delicate palette - beautiful!
